Policies | Evening Shade Inn

General:

Check-In: 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm CST (Please call and make special arrangements if you will arrive later).

Check-Out: 11:00 am CST

All rooms have king-size beds and are single or double occupancy.

The inn is adults only and we do not host children under 13 years of age.

Weekend bookings have a 2-night minimum (exceptions only with last-minute availabilities).

Gift Certificates purchases are non-refundable and may not be redeemed for cash.

Evening Shade Inn is not responsible for any damages due to loss, theft during your stay, or items left behind after check-out. 

Pet Policy and Property Violations:

No pets unless they are a certified service animal. Emotional support animals are not allowed. If possible, please notify us in advance if you are bringing a service animal.  Early notification will expedite check-in service. You may not leave your service animal unattended in the rooms at any time. Any damages will be charged to your credit card.

No Smoking or vaping in any rooms– Smoking and vaping are only permitted outside.

A minimum of $250.00 will be charged to anyone who brings a pet or smokes in any indoor space at Evening Shade Inn during their stay.

No open flames in indoor spaces, including votive candles, tea lights, candles, and incense.

Please notify us as soon as possible if something is broken or damaged during your stay to possibly avoid being charged. Missing items after checkout will be charged to your credit card.

Deposits:

A valid credit card deposit is required at the time of booking: half of the total room charges will be the deposit for multiple nights and a single night will be a full charge plus tax. 

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover

Cancellations:

If you must cancel, we require at least 14 days’ notice for us to refund your deposit or issue a gift certificate in the amount of the deposit. A $50.00 cancellation fee will be charged for each room booked.

 If you must cancel with less than 14 days’ notice, the entire rate of the booking will still be charged. Short notice is costly if we are unable to fill one of our 8 rooms. 

Cancellations for larger bookings with more than 2 rooms require 21 days’ notice for us to refund a deposit or issue a gift certificate in the amount of the deposit. A $50.00 cancellation fee will be charged for each room booked.

There will be no refunds for early departures or no shows.

Military, Police, First Responders and Teachers:

We would like to give special thanks to the military, police, first responders, and teachers for their sacrifice and commitment. Please accept a 20% discount for your stay. We do require that you show a valid I.D. and direct book with us by phone or through this website.
